About Walkabout Camp

We are a family owned and operated Campground. We bring both the Australian Twist and the Nebraskan Farm Land to provide an experience you will never forget. Our goal for your experience is to provide an atmosphere where one day is just not enough. We have tons of amenities that attract all ages which is something we strive for. From a leisurely walkabout around our campground to playing a game of basketball or volleyball to relaxing by the poolside or even getting your sweat on in our fully equipped gym to playing with the fun, entertaining Farm animals. We provide an atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Campground is great. Very clean and people friendly. It is conveniently located right off I-95. Fantastic place for kids because they have a petting zoo. Owners work extremely hard. Would highly recommend staying here.

Nice Park, friendly, lots of activities while we were there January and February 2023. The sites are easy to get in and out, hiking trails, petting zoo, pool, a variety of sites to see and experience. We are looking forward to returning the upcoming winter months

We love this park, such friendly folks and great location. They have a little petting zoo, nice pool, cornhole, basketball, volleyball and very up to date bathrooms. You can visit St Marys, St Simons, Jekyll, Fernandina (all within 30 minutes). We have stayed here many times, so I highly recommend you check it out, you wont’ be disappointed.
