Enjoyed our stay nice and quiet. Beautiful lush natural landscape and loved they recommended downtown St. Marys. Great food and music!

This camp site is tucked into the woods, very clean and very friendly people. The people who run it are extremely nice and personable. Has a gated pet park, some farm animals, goats, pigs and chickens. I HIGHLY recommend this camp site!

Amazing Campground run by amazing people! If your traveling thru, it is a must stop! And they have a pickleball court!

Walkabout is the nicest RV Park Ive ever stayed at. The chickens that greeted us was so welcoming. The owners make you feel like family. The grounds are so clean and well maintained. The office and maintenance team are super nice and accommodating.

This is our second time staying here. While we used it as an overnight stop heading home to Florida, we are planning to return for a week. Facilities are new, clean and staff/owners are super nice and helpful. Easy access, wide roads, lots of big rigs in here. New, clean swimming pool, playground. Added bonus they have goats and chickens. Really easy access from I-95. Oh and the sites are level. We stayed in site K19 near entrance, which happens to be near an amazingly fragrant jasmine vine/hedge.

Stopped here just passing through. Staff was exceptionally friendly. They even have a Pickleball Court. Would definitely stop here again and would recommend it to others.

This park is well worth a stop! Very close to 95, very friendly owners. They have been working very hard with improvements. New bathhouse – Pickleball Courts. Been stopping here for over 10 years. Can’t say anything negative…Come Visit.

Beautiful Park and super convenient just off 95 but far enough away from the highway so there is no road noise. Feels like you are truly away from it all. Bathhouse is super nice and clean. Great playground for the kids. Everything is very well maintained. Definitely recommend. We will be back.

I stayed at this park for one night! It was my second time there (last time was in 2017) and I have to tell you that this place is outstanding for the value!. It’s easy to access from the interstate, the people were very friendly when booking, after hours check in was easy, all sites are level and pull through and the owners added amenities such as a fire pit, a new bathhouse, Pickleball court and a dog run. Even the pool looked refreshing and clean! It’s such a great campground to stop at on your way through. I highly recommend it!

Just finished a three week stay at Walkabout, great park, wonderful owners and camp hosts, we stay here routinely as it is not far to where our kids live, their expansion will make it even better

Stopped overnight. Great stop with full hookup and 50 amp. Office personnel are friendly and accommodating. Even got RV washed. Will stop there again!

One of our favorite stops! Every year there are major improvements and you couldn’t ask for a better location! Everyone is super friendly and takes pride in the park. Troy and his family are the best and go out of their way to make you welcomed. Lots of activities and get togethers to help you meet fellow campers. Sorry we have to miss the Easter potluck dinner.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay at Walkabout while were cycling down the east coast. Troy’s an awesome guy and we were especially happy with the cyclist rates that are offered, a rare thing on the east coast. We found the clubhouse kitchen facilities especially useful and a nice break from our alcohol stove/backpacking cooking set up. Being able to eat inside and put a movie on was a real luxury for us.

We stayed here one night 5/9/17..this was our last night on the road after a 28 day trip out to AZ ..My husband told folks before we left… we were going Walkabout…so staying here was meant to be..loved the chickens that helped him set up…it was smoky when were left out because of the fires in the swamp…pool area looked great…lady checking us in was nice..will stay here again…thanks.

We stay here on our way to Florida and back and have stayed here for years on our travels. Small pull thru park and very ckean. Very very nice folks that own it. Come for a visit or stay longer you will love it here.

This is a wonderful, friendly, clean campground! The staff and the owners were extremely nice and hard working to make our stay relaxing, fun and enjoyable stay. We felt safe here. We stayed a month and planned to stay longer but a family illness came up and we had to leave early. Lord willing, we will be back in the fall and looking forward to it!

Very nice place to stop only wish we could have stayed longer. Baby goats were adorable
We stayed here 5/15/2021 to get our feet wet with our new travel trailer. We have two boys and the amount of joy they had for the 24 hours we were there was well worth it! On top of the petting zoo, the park for the kids to play at, the pool, and the community fire pit everything and everyone was nice and helpful! The park itself was clean and well maintained. This was definitely a great spot for our first time out! Thank you for a memorable stay!
Due to Covid and health issues we ended up staying for a year. Owners and staff are great and very friendly. They were very helpful on more than a few occasions when we needed a hand. Highly recommend Walkabout and hope to stay there again.
Such a cute couple that truly care about their costumers!! Accommodated us with a crazy late check in, and we woke up Saturday morning to yummy donuts and a “show”. They have pigs, goats, chickens, and an awesome playground. My 5 and 6 year olds loved it!! Honestly wish we stayed longer and knew about this place earlier.
Best place I’ve ever stayed. Owners are very friendly. They allow campfires and random events regularly. Very tranquil and quiet. A few animals in a small petting zoo. The owners are helpful anytime you may have a problem. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through South Georgia.
We loved this campground. The owners make you feel like family. We met so many friendly neighbors. We will be back for sure. It is close to many attractions.
